The lure of the older woman in entertainment industry is on the increase in Mombasa as most artistes turn to them for financial security so as to stay afloat in showbiz. In Likoni, rumor had it that Mombasa musician Daddy Sele (formerly known as Daddy S) is secretly romancing a woman believed to his senior. DRUM spotted the musician and a woman who seemed to fit that description walking together along Moi Avenue in Mombasa last Friday (19.06.09). But when DRUM contacted him on phone, he refuted the rumors claiming that he has not reached that position. "I don’t date older women. I haven’t reached that desperate state, if I was dating her, I would proudly show her off. The woman you saw me with was just a promoter," he said. The musician plans to shoot a video of his next song soon.
